Client's comments

"From our very first meeting, enjoying a glass of Arneis in a shaded courtyard, they listened and quickly understood our requirements. Maps where brought out, locations discussed, along with budgets and the process of buying a home in Italy.

Richard makes the sometimes gruelling task of property hunting into a delightful day trip around some of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. His local knowledge of the Langhe ensured we saw as many properties, carefully researched, as we could within our limited time. (with time to sample some excellent coffee too).

One for our main considerations when choosing an agent is excellent communication. Richard always responded quickly, however daft the question might have been with good advice and suggestions, and of course, humour!

The services of Langhe Property extend way beyond those of any other estate agent. In addition to the obvious needs of buying and selling in Italy, Richard is always happy to guide you in other areas of Italian life, and like all countries, there are some frustrations to overcome.....

Richard & Langhe Property will offer you credible support, guidance and advice from the very first property you view, right through the entire process to owning your dream home"

"Richard and Ula were wonderful to work with. We went into the buying process with information we collected from all sorts of YouTube channels and articles. However, when we met with Richard, he really helped guide us into what was ultimately the best direction as far as the kind of property that was a good fit for our family.
We are very glad we followed his advice and ended up buying in the Piemonte region and have since commented several times how much we benefited from his expertise. We are extremely happy with our home and the area we landed.
The practical side of buying, working with a notary and obtaining an architect all the way to setting up utilities and all the things that make living easy, Richard held our hand and guided us through the process not leaving us to ourselves and potential griefs. We cannot recommend working with Langhe Property enough!"

"To anyone considering buying in Italy, we would personally recommend 'Langhe Property'. They found us the perfect house & took all the hassle out of the buying process"

"Buying in Italy could appear to be daunting task however this was not our experience thanks to the assistance of Langhe Property and the kindness and patience. Each step of our purchase was straightforward and it seemed that there was always an answer to any of our questions.

We needed a foreign mortgage... an architect... a builder... Each person that we were introduced to have been efficient and reliable. All in all we have been amazed and extremely happy with out incredibly positive experience. Had we had to "go it alone" I cannot imagine that it would have been this easy!"

"Recently, we purchased a holiday home through Langhe Property. Their advance understanding of our requirements created a focused search; his guidance and sensitivity during the negotiation process yielded a happy and successful outcome and his attention to detail through to legal completion, and beyond, was both supportive and confidence giving.

At all times, Langhe Property's professional approach combined with their warm and easy going nature, made them a pleasure to deal with. We have no hesitation in recommending Alex to anyone looking for a suitable home in the region."

"I thank you very much for taking us around and spending all that time with me.. what I appreciated the most is that you are both very genuine and honest people. It is very refreshing to meet people like this in this superficial world."

"We have lived in Milan for several years and have been looking on and off for a property for the last 10, but it was only when we met Langhe Property that we finally felt comfortable enough to take the plunge.

Other agents will keep property on their Web sites that has been long sold to entice you to their region to show you houses nothing like your brief…. Nor will all the truth come out unless specific questions are asked – we know Italian and understand the purchase process so we knew what to ask, but I pity the unsuspecting foreigner who doesn't. We also tried other agents, some German, some Swiss and were put off by the pressure to buy and their attempts to discredit their rivals.

With Richard it doesn't work like that. You have a question? He'll answer it quickly and fully. You want to buy a house that he has some doubts over? He'll tell you why and in great detail (and on investigation he'll turn out to be right) You want clarity on cost, processes, mortgages, loans? All the info cheerfully provided by return email, nothing too much to ask and unpleasant news never hidden.

I admit it has been easier for us because we do speak the language and have our own contacts, but even with these you need someone on your side – and I thoroughly recommend Langhe Property for their speed, honesty, humour and in-depth knowledge of the market. They'll even help you with finalising issues post-sale, if you need it… how much more could you ask?"
