Barolo has two castles - the old and the 'new'. The new castle in the centre has a beautiful wine cellar that is open to the public for wine tasting. There are numerous restaurants, a cork-screw museum.., cafes and shops selling the region's delicacies. Specialities: famous for one the world's very best wines - Barolo. Nebbiolo grapes are grown here and some Barbera. The Nebbiolo is made either into Barolo or Nebbiolo wines. Just recently the WiMu has opened -the Wine Museum. There is also the wonderful Barolo Golf Club. Towns and villages close to Barolo: La Morra, Monforte d'Alba. We specialise in this area. It's always a great investment to buy in this part of the Langhe.
